50 Shades Of Grey Injury Explosion!

Mon, Wed & Fri – Funny Weird News, Movie & Personal Vlogs (Topical Rants, Survival Guides, Life Hacks & Sexy Cosplay Galleries)

Ouch! Sex toy related injuries have surged since the release of Fifty Shades of Grey – 50 Shades Of Grey Injury Explosion!

he NHS and London Fire Brigade are bracing themselves for a slew of sex related injuries. Because Fifty Shades of Grey hits our cinemas – and our bedrooms – this weekend.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) said today it was ‘concerned’ the film’s release could lead to a ‘spike’ in people being stuck or trapped in handcuffs or bindings.

Since April, it has attended 393 such incidents.

Meanwhile, sex toy injuries have doubled overall since 2007. And, according to recent figures, they saw a spike in 2012 and 2013 following the release of the Fifty Shades mummy porn trilogy.

These concerning stats, reported by the Washington Post, come courtesy of the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System, which has tracked casualty admissions since 1991.

Injuries relating to ‘massage devices and vibrators’ rocketed in 2012, when 2,500 people checked in at the ER. The first Fifty Shades of Grey book was released in 2011. There is no proof the two are linked, but, well, it’s safe to assume they could be.

Thankfully, most injuries incurred were not too severe.

71 per cent of patients were treated and released, with only 25 per cent requiring hospitalization. And the good news was that none of the cases required assistance from the fire department, and zero deaths were recorded.

However, with reports that sex shops on both sides of the Atlantic are already stocking up on their sex toys ahead of the film’s release this weekend – while B&Q is warning staff to expect a run on DIY S&M items – there could be trouble ahead for an already stretched NHS.

Stay safe out there folks.

Jurassic BACK!! Fourth Jurassic Park movie gets an official title… Jurassic World

The original Jurassic Park movie, released in 1993 and directed by Steven Spielberg, defined adventure films for the 20th Century.

Its nail-biting, gripping story line and of-the-time effects all helped win its three Oscars.

And now 20 years later, with two sequels already made, Universal bosses have confirmed the name of the latest installment in the franchise – Jurassic World.

The fourth Jurassic Park film was originally just given the presumed title Jurassic Park 4, but now fans of the movies will be thrilled to find out its official title.

With Colin Trevorrow confirmed as director, and working with Derek Connolly on the screenplay, along with Steven Spielberg as executive producer, this film, due for release in 2015, is set to be another Jurassic epic.

Trevorrow directed the budget sci-fi comedy Safety Not Guaranteed in 2012 (of which Connolly wrote the screenplay).

And speaking about the upcoming sequel recently, Trevorrow teased fans that there will be a new breed of dinosaur making an appearance in the film.

He said: ‘We have a new one that’s pretty cool. I’m not going to tell you anything about it, but… it’s pretty badass.’

The film follows a story of three magazine employees who interview a man who wants to time travel.

Jurassic World, which will be released on Friday, June 12 2015 in 3D, follows the success of Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World (1997) and Jurassic Park 3 (2001).

To date, the three films have taken a combined $1.9billion of box office sales, and it was reported that the re-release this year of the original film has generated $114million.

Following the confirmation of the title, the Twitter account for the new film, @JurassicPark_4, posted to its 2,145 followers: ‘The next Jurassic Park film will be titled JURASSIC WORLD – Hitting theaters June 12th, 2015!’

Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman in a forthcoming Superman sequel, bringing together the two superheroes in one film for the first time.

The 41-year-old will star opposite British actor Henry Cavill, who will reprise his role as Superman from the most recent film, Man of Steel.

Director Zack Snyder revealed the big screen superhero mash-up at a comic convention in San Diego last month.

Production is expected to begin next year for release in the summer of 2015.

“We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular super heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill and then some,” Warner Bros President Greg Silverman said in a statement.

Mr Snyder, who also directed Man of Steel, said in a statement that Mr Affleck will provide an “interesting counter-balance” to 31-year old Cavill’s Clark Kent.

“(Affleck) has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,” said Snyder. “I can’t wait to work with him.”

The sequel – which has yet to be given a title – will reunite Man of Steel stars Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent).
Batman and Superman The two superheroes will debut in the same film in 2015

Christian Bale most recently played Batman in director Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.

Michael Keaton and George Clooney have also donned the black mask and cape in previous Batman films.

Ben Affleck’s film Argo, which he starred in and directed, won an Academy Award for best picture earlier this year.

The superhero genre is not new to Mr Affleck, who previously starred as the blind hero in the 2003 Daredevil film based on the Marvel Comics.

Batman and Superman are part of DC Comics universe, which is part of the Warner Bros Entertainment division.

Revenues from the latest films featuring Superman and Batman have exceeded $1bn (£655m) in recent years.
